Its Own Model

Not a Date or Temporal wrapper. One bigint nanosecond epoch is the identity; zones, calendars, and locales are projected views.

Simple and ergonomic API. ZDate keeps date/time complexity beneath a compact set of types and composable operations.

ZDate implements its own solar, lunar, and lunisolar calendar engines, including conversion and arithmetic.

One strict parser handles ISO, RFC 9557, LDAP, SMTP, HTTP, log dates, and ZDate's own grammar-based natural dates.

Offset and zone disagreements, folds, gaps, and weekday conflicts are never silently accepted. ZRepair makes every recovery policy visible.

Parse a localized date in one language, project it through another calendar or zone, and format it for another locale.
